Zachary Hostetler, J.D., MBA
Zach serves as chief operating officer, providing strategic consulting to Employers Health and its clients. In this role, Zach oversees the organization’s clinical and client solutions teams and is responsible for client satisfaction and retention. Acting as an extension of each client’s benefits team, Zach ensures stability and accountability of various vendor partners, resources and value-added benefits. He also oversees Employers Health’s annual market check contract renegotiation with its PBM suppliers, CVS Caremark and Optum Rx.
He currently serves as vice chair of the board of directors for NAMI Stark County and secretary of the Lifecare Family Health and Dental Center board of directors.
Prior to joining Employers Health, Zach obtained his bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance from Walsh University. He completed his Juris Doctor at The University of Akron School of Law with a health law certificate and obtained his MBA from The University of Akron College of Business Administration. He was a member of the 2016 Class of the Leadership Stark County Spotlight Program and the 2018 Leadership Stark County Signature Program. In 2023, he was selected to the yStark! 20 Under 40 class recognizing young professionals for their accomplishments and work in the community.
