Julia Shelton, PharmD Milliman
Julia Shelton is a licensed pharmacist with over 12 years of experience in the managed care pharmacy industry. In 2023, she joined the Milliman team, where she serves as a senior pharmacy management consultant supporting clients with payer-perspective formulary, rebate insights and strategic pipeline preparations. Her expertise includes pharmacy benefit management for large employers and health systems, rebate and formulary strategy, clinical and plan performance analytics, pharmaceutical pipeline impacts, medical drug strategy and Medicare Part D regulations.
Prior to Millman, Julia was a clinical director of strategic product and development. In this role, she created innovative cost-savings solutions for large employers and health systems and assisted employer clients in evaluating and negotiating pharmacy benefit contracts. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University.
