Employers Health, a national pharmacy benefit group purchasing organization, was recently named as one of the 2025 Best Employers in Ohio by Best Companies Group in partnership with Crain’s Cleveland Business and Crain’s Content Studio-Cleveland. This statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Ohio, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses.
Headquartered in Canton, Ohio, this is the fifth consecutive year Employers Health has been recognized in the small to medium employer category (15-249 U.S. employees). Organizations were selected after completing a two-step process.
Phase 1:
All considered organizations were first evaluated based on workplace policies, practices and procedures and demographics. These factors accounted for ~20% of the total evaluation.
Phase 2:
Considered organizations were required to conduct employee surveys to assess the greater team’s thoughts, experiences and attitudes toward their workplace. Survey results accounted for ~80% of the total evaluation.
The combined scores helped determine the top companies. Workforce Research Group managed the registration and survey process, analyzed the data and used its expertise to determine the final rankings. Employers Health’s final ranking highlighted multiple benefits, including free financial planning services and estate planning services. Additional notable benefits at Employers Health include 100% employer-paid medical, dental and vision insurance for all employees and eligible dependents and a minimum of 20 vacation days annually.
