Ernesto Munoz
As a clinical advisor, Ernesto works closely with the vice president of clinical solutions and clinical team to support the development of cost reduction strategies and evaluates new drugs’ effect on the current market. In this role, he provides recommendations on the impact this may have on current drug utilization. Additionally, he assists in the administration of flu shots as part of the Employers Health Flu Immunization Program.
Ernesto’s prior experience includes serving as a health consultant intern for a pharmacy benefit manager, where he supported the team in the development of various clinical programs for its clients. Ernesto obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from Purdue University, in West Lafayette, Indiana. During his time at Purdue, he was an active member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy where he participated in various activities supporting the mission of improving patient health.
