Ernesto Munoz, PharmD, MBA, CEBS
As a clinical advisor at Employers Health, Ernesto supports self-insured employer groups in managing over $5.9 billion in pharmacy drug spend. With a Doctor of Pharmacy from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Youngstown State University, Ernesto brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and strategic insight into the pharmacy benefit space. His work focuses on analyzing complex drug pipeline data into actionable insights, developing innovative management strategies in collaboration with major PBM vendors and ensuring data-driven solutions align with financial goals.
Ernesto serves as the president-elect for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Ohio-Kentucky Affiliate. For his fundraising and advocacy efforts, he was named the 2025 Leader of Impact by the American Heart Association. He is passionate about improving patient outcomes through thoughtful benefit design and empowering others through education, communication and leadership.
