Ernesto Munoz, PharmD, MBA, CEBS
As a clinical advisor at Employers Health, Ernesto supports self-insured employer groups in managing over $4 billion in pharmacy drug spend. With a Doctor of Pharmacy from Purdue University and an MBA from Youngstown State University, Ernesto brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and strategic insight into the pharmacy benefit space. His work focuses on analyzing complex drug pipeline data into actionable insights, developing innovative management strategies in collaboration with major PBM vendors and ensuring data-driven solutions align with financial goals.
Ernesto serves on the National Finance Committee for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP), where he helps guide strategic budgeting initiatives and was recently named a 2025 Leader of Impact by the American Heart Association for his advocacy and fundraising efforts. He is passionate about improving patient outcomes through thoughtful benefit design and empowering others through education, communication and leadership.
