Alexis Sova, PharmD
As a clinical advisor, Alexis works alongside the clinical and client solutions teams to provide clinical insight to benefit professionals around the country. In this role, she assists in identifying strategies that will help guide clients’ health care decision making while reducing their health expenditure. Through this position, she also aids in informing clients about new drug data and overall drug trends.
Prior to joining the clinical team at Employers Health, Alexis gained valuable experience as an inpatient, community and medication assistance program intern. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy at The Ohio State University and her undergraduate degree in biological sciences at Ohio University. Throughout pharmacy school, Alexis spearheaded various advocacy campaigns to help improve medication accessibility and eliminate health disparities. She was also heavily involved in her local chapter of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, where she remains an active member.
