Wendy Bohmfalk World Health Education Foundation and Migraine World Summit
Wendy Bohmfalk worked at Accenture for almost 20 years, leading teams in consulting and recruiting. However, chronic migraine forced Wendy to leave the corporate world. After sharing her migraine story, she found a new calling in migraine education and advocacy. She served as director of operations for Migraine World Summit and the World Health Education Foundation for five years, focusing on community engagement, developing migraine advocates and sharing migraine education. Additionally, Wendy served as program manager for Migraine at Work, educating organizations about the workplace needs of individuals living with migraine disease. Wendy has also conducted numerous interviews with world experts on headache and migraine disease.
Wendy has lobbied for migraine patients at Headache on the Hill, was interviewed by NBC Nightly News and is a former member of CHAMP: Coalition for Headache and Migraine Patients, where she served as chair of National Migraine and Headache Awareness Month. She feels privileged to have worked with hundreds of migraine warriors dedicated to improving the lives of people living with the disease.
