Joanna Mayer, CEBS, CMS National Church Residences
Joanna Mayer, benefits director at National Church Residences, is a dedicated employee well-being and benefits leader who is passionate about improving the health and well-being of all employees and their families. Joanna is also immensely passionate about inspiring, creating and maintaining an environment that supports each person’s health and well-being wherever they are on their journey.
Joanna has led multiple strategic initiatives centered around total rewards, including negotiating vendor contracts, designing and implementing programs and updating technology that has created cost-savings to the organization, as well as provided a greater benefit to employees. Recently, she developed programs to fill gaps identified within the social determinants of health, including family-building and caregiver support programs and compensation market analysis of all jobs within the organization.
Joanna is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist and Compensation Management Specialist. Joanna holds a bachelor’s degree in international business with a focus in finance from Franklin Pierce University. When she is not wearing her total rewards cape, Joanna can be found scuba diving, tap dancing and spending time with her husband of 10 years, Steve, and their 6-year-old daughter, Abigail.
