Ellen Lewis, GBA, FLMI, CBC Southwestern Ohio Educational Purchasing Council
Ellen Lewis is the benefits plan administrator for Southwestern Ohio Educational Purchasing Council, a council of governments working to help member school districts achieve savings by pooling their purchasing power. In this role, she manages vendor relations and contracts, ensures compliance with laws and regulations and serves as a resource for plan participants.
She has more than 30 years of experience in group benefits. Prior to her position at Southwestern Ohio EPC, she worked with employers and their benefits teams to navigate and implement their group benefits. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in business administration from The Ohio State University, is a fellow of the Life Management Institute (FMLI), a Chartered Benefits Consultant (CBC) and has received her Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. (IFEBP).
