David Kearschner

As a director in network product innovation David has responsibility over CVS Health’s Network designs, operations and performance as well as supporting both CVS clients and account teams. David has been with CVS Health for 14 years, with the last seven in product management & innovation. 

Michael D. Sherry, RPh

Director, Formulary Product Development, CVS Health

Michael D. Sherry, RPh is a licensed pharmacist and 1998 graduate of the University Of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. He has worked for CVS Health since 1996 in multiple roles in the retail, PBM and specialty divisions of the company. Beginning in retail, he worked in stores and pharmacy field management before transitioning to a corporate operations position. He was responsible for the management and growth of the Pharmacist Immunization Program from the end of 2006 until the middle of 2015 where he grew the program from a pilot into a chain-wide blue-chip program. Following that, he spent 3 years in the PBM division where he was responsible for CVS Caremark’s commercial and marketplace formularies along with programs focused on improving generic utilization before transitioning to support 340B programs within the specialty division. He returned to the PBM formulary team in February 2020 focused on commercial formularies and additional consumer product strategies. His role includes working with various stakeholders across the organization to set strategy, ensure flawless execution, improve client adoption and drive improvements of the products in his portfolio.

Mr. Sherry is a member of several national professional pharmacy organizations, including the American Pharmacists Association where he served on the Advisory Board for the Practice-based CPE program “Pharmacy Based Immunization Delivery.” He has also previously served on the Advisory Panel for the MTM Core Elements Service Model Version 2.0 document and various other industry workgroups including the Pharmacy Quality Alliance and NCPDP Workgroup 10.

Michelle L. Wagner, RPh

Senior Advisor, Formulary Product Development, CVS Health

Michelle joined CVS Health in July 2018 as a clinical benefits pharmacist. She was promoted to clinical benefits pharmacist supervisor in 2018 where she oversaw a team of pharmacists as well as supported the clinical benefits of a large strategic client, CareFirst. Michelle then joined the Formulary Product Development team in November 2020 as a senior advisor.

Prior to joining CVS, Michelle spent the previous 17 years with Medco/Express Scripts as a drug file pharmacist with responsibilities focused on the home delivery fulfillment pharmacies across the country. Prior to this, Michelle worked as a community pharmacist with Wal-Mart.

As a senior advisor for the formulary droduct development team, Michelle is responsible for Standard Control, Advanced Control and Balanced Formulary. Her roles include overseeing and supporting the effective strategy, operations, sales and marketing of the template formulary products. Michelle works with several departments including Formulary Administration, Clinical Formulary, Trade, Marketing, Account Teams and Benefits Teams.

Michelle received her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a Registered Pharmacist in Arizona, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
