- ERISA preemption and why it matters.
- Common regulatory areas preempted by ERISA and areas generally subject to state law.
Part 2
Participants will discover:
- How pharmacy benefit managers (PBMS) are valuable partners to employers in providing affordable access to prescription drug benefits for their plan participants.
- How state laws restricting PBM’s tools will lead to higher drug costs for plans and enrollees.
- An important story from the employer community to share with state policymakers about the challenges in developing affordable and flexible employee health benefit packages.
