Dr. Lahr is a senior executive with 45 years of experience in eye care delivery and vision care, 19 of which have been with EyeMed. As Vice President of Provider/Industry Relations and Medical Director, he is responsible for the interaction and relationship development with EyeMed’s health partners in the areas of wellness and disease management support. He also supports the areas of standards of care, quality assurance/improvement, network development and management as well as all communications to network providers. He plays a leadership role in key areas of product development.
Before joining EyeMed, he provided full-scope clinical eye care in primary care and medical/surigical settings for 28-years. Dr. Lahr also founded a health care consultation group to ophthalmic and optical corporations, managed care organizations and eye care practices.
Dr. Lahr received his doctor of optometry degree, as well as a BS in optometric science from Indiana University.
Jeremy has been with EyeMed for 7 years. He leads a team of four sales executives that cover a portion of the Midwest including Michigan, Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
