Michael Ell, MBA, MAcct, FACHE
Director, Business Development
Michael Ell is a director of business development covering the Western and Northwest portions of the U.S. In this role, he helps self-insured employers improve the value of their benefits through Employers Health’s group purchasing solutions, particularly its $1 billion pharmacy benefits program.
Prior to joining Employers Health, Michael served the health care industry in numerous roles. He most recently worked as an audit associate for a regional accounting firm serving non-profit health care entities. Michael served as treasurer and chair of the finance committee for the New Mexico Healthcare Executives, an independent chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is board certified in health care management as a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives (FACHE). Additionally, he received a letter of commendation from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration for his outstanding achievements in the field of suicide prevention.
Michael obtained his Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Eckerd College, his MBA from the University of South Florida and his Master of Accounting from the University of New Mexico.
